As educators and therapists, we have often seen the shift when someone finally better understands themselves or their child. There are huge benefits to understanding how and why one thinks, learns, and processes the way that they do. You can probably find many stories from people with learning differences who found that when they: understood themselves were able to advocate for themselves and found accommodations that helped, that it made a big difference to their lives.

DJ Cunningham is one of those success stories, and we are thrilled to have him join us as one of our Keynote speakers at our upcoming Summit. He is going to bring a personalized experience to his keynote of his own struggles in school. He was diagnosed with both an LD and ADHD at a young age, yet has had great personal and business success.

DJ was able to find ways to take advantage of his disabilities and used them to his advantage, which is what led to his creating a business that focused on education, training and assistive technology. In his keynote talk “Harnessing the advantage of learning differences”, he will share not only about his company LEARNstyle Ltd. but his journey through his learning differences to get to a place where he knew he wanted to help others use their strengths on their own learning difference journeys.

DJ will be the keynote speaker that kicks off our Summit, however, we have an incredible line-up of experts who will be sharing on other topics such as technology, sleep and stress, and executive functioning. Plus, we will have lots of time for sharing, connecting and question & answer periods.
